Good morning! I’m Luya from G6B.Today, I want to talk about national defense education, which is important for us students. A wise teacher from ancient China, Confucius, once said: “If we teach people well for seven years, they will be ready to protect their country.” This tells us that learning and training are very important to keep a country safe.

大家早上好！我是六年孝班的王璐瑤。今天我想谈谈国防教育——这对我们学生而言至关重要。中国古代一位智者孔子曾说过：“教民七年，亦可以即戎矣。”这句话告诉我们，学习和训练对于保卫国家安全极为重要。

Think about the old days. A long time ago, there was a state called Qin. Its army was very well-trained, and that helped bring all of China together.

回顾历史长河：早在两千多年前，秦国凭借训练有素的军队，最终实现了统一中国的伟业。

Now, let’s talk about something more recent — the big military parade on September 3rd. It was a huge event that showed how strong China is. We saw many modern weapons and lots of soldiers who were trained very well. It wasn’t just about showing power — it also helped us remember history and showed that we want to keep peace.

再看近现代——9月3日的大阅兵场面震撼。这场盛典不仅展示了中国的强大实力，让我们看到众多现代化武器装备和英姿飒爽的军人，更深远的意义在于铭记历史，宣示我们捍卫和平的决心。

Today, even though we live in a peaceful time, the world can still be unpredictable. That’s why learning about national defense is so important. As students, we can learn more about how to protect our country. We can read books about military stories, watch fun shows about the army, and join school activities that teach us about national defense.

当今世界虽处于和平时期，但仍充满不确定性。正因如此，国防教育显得尤为重要。作为学生，我们可以通过阅读军事题材书籍、观看有趣的军旅节目、参加学校国防教育活动等方式，增强国防意识。

In the end, national defense is about keeping our country safe and making sure everyone can live happily. Let’s learn more about how we can help and be prepared to do our part when we grow up.

归根结底，国防关乎国家安全和人民幸福。让我们主动了解国防知识，长大后时刻准备为守护祖国贡献自己的力量！
