鈴木照世(Suzuki Teruyo )
LEX語言交流研究所研究員，在日本從事多種語言自然學習研究活動。這學期在太湖大學堂教授多種語言自然學習相關課程，如唱歌、遊戲、聽故事..等。孩子盡可能在年紀越小的時候用自然的方式，去接觸多語言。孩子能夠超過我們想像的能力來分辨與遵循各種聲音，模仿的聲音也比大人更像原音。讓孩子沉浸在故事的聲音,使用幾種語言，不只有英語，而且還有法語，德語，韓語，西班牙語，日語等，並讓他們熟悉世界各地的語言。

最近的研究指出的韻律（節奏和旋律）語言是很重要的，而不是來學習只是一種語言。

來回於很多的語言之間，熟悉的多語言不僅限於語言習得，也是人類增強抽象思維和認知教育的提升。

初めまして、鈴木照世といいます。LEX言語交流研究所の研究員として、日本で多言語を自然習得するという活動をしています。今期、太湖大学堂で多言語の授業を受け持ちます。よろしくお願いします。小さい子どものうちにできるだけ自然な形で、さまざまな言語に触れてもらいたい。子どもたちの耳は私たちが思っている以上にいろんな音を区別することができ、さらその音を真似することも大人以上に上手です。英語や日本語、スペイン語、フランス語、韓国語、ドイツ語など多言語で語られる物語のCDを聞きながら、世界の言語に親しみます。最近の研究では、言語の持つリズムやメロディなどの大切さが説かれています。一つのことばを勉強するのではなく、たくさんの言語の間を自然に行ったり来たりしながら、多言語に親しむことは、言語習得だけにとどまらず、抽象的な思考や認知力を高める人間教育です。また私のバックグランドは日本ですので、折々、日本文化の紹介をしていきたいと思います。

Hello, my name is Teruyo Suzuki, I am a fellow of LEX Japan. I am a researcher of linguistics and I investigate the natural way of language learning. In LEX, we are interested in multilingual education. We hope that the children will have the experience of hearing many languages as soon as possible. In fact children have more talent to distinguish each language than adults and have abilities to follows the sounds better than adults. I am going to let the children immerse in the sounds of the story CD we use in LEX with several languages, not just only English but also French, German, Korean, Spanish, Japanese, etc.  and let them familiarize with the languages of around the world. Recent studies state that the prosody(rhythm and the melody) of the languages is important rather than to learn just one language.

Swaying back and forth between many languages, and becoming familiar with them, not only is multilingual education bur is also the growth of abstract thinking and human education to enhance cognition.

I am from Japan so I would also like to introduce my culture to the children by chance.
